These conditions are explained in the application form, and you will have an opportunity to ask to be considered for them at that time. Asking to be considered for one of these awards does not exclude your application from being considered for any other award in the category.
2025 AGW Fellowships
AGW is pleased to announce that in 2025 it will award the following Fellowships:
Two (2) Barbara Hale Fellowships: Value $8,000 each
These Fellowships are open to students who, being Australian citizens or permanent residents, are enrolled in a research doctorate in any discipline at any Australian university.
One (1) Georgina Sweet Fellowship in the areas of Science, technology, Engineering, Maths and Medicine: Value $8,000

Destination Australia Scholarships
The aim of the Destination Australia scholarships is to attract and support international and domestic students to study in regional Australia, to grow and develop regional Australian education providers and offer students a high-quality learning experience. Destination Australia Scholarships are funded by the Australian Government, and are offered by education providers across regional Victoria.
Western Alliance Associate Research Fellowship & Scholarship Program
The aim of the Western Alliance Associate Research Fellowship & Scholarship program is to support development of collaborative, applied and translational research that will improve health outcomes for people and communities in the western region of Victoria.
