Mildura Base Public Hospital

Mildura Base Hospital’s first-ever clinical trial and research unit was opened in February 2023 and is located on the ground floor. Although research and clinical trials are new to the hospital, the goal is to provide more opportunities for patients to participate in clinical research closer to home and family. MBPH’s research will focus on the needs of the local community and will be enhanced through partnerships with other hospitals, universities, and sponsors and by joining government programs.

Mildura Base Hospital Library is independent of Monash University Library and the two libraries work in cooperation. In addition to hospital staff, the library contributes to the learning, teaching and research activities of Monash staff and students based at the School of Rural Health – Mildura.

LMICS works in partnership with health services and consumers to promote coordinated planning, system integration and improvement of cancer services across their respective regions.
