Every VoiceCAN

What is Every VoiceCAN?

Every VoiceCAN is the consumer advisory network, making an important and valuable contribution to the ReViTALISE project. See About Us for more information on ReViTALISE.

Who is Every VoiceCAN?

Consumers with a lived experience of cancer from regional and rural areas across Victoria are invited to be part of this group to share ideas, concerns, and solutions and to support each other in their role as consumers, building confidence and empowering consumers to speak up and be heard.

What does Every VoiceCAN do?

The consumer network comes together at least five times a year to hear updates about the ReViTALISE project, to discuss a particular initiative within the project and other programs, to provide consumer input for grants as required or requested.

Every program in ReViTALISE welcomes the contribution of consumers. @research is a website where you can learn more about the consumer role in health services research. This information is being built on and we look forward to sharing more resources with you soon!

The Details

Meetings are conducted via Zoom for one hour, with an agenda provided one week before the meeting, with clear topics, timelines, and actions. There is plenty of opportunity to raise issues that interest you both within the ReViTALISE project and other projects and programs.

Remuneration is in accordance with the VCCC Alliance cost model that aligns with the Victorian Department of Premier and Cabinet’s Appointment and Remuneration Guidelines (referenced by Safer Care Victoria), using the upper limit on Schedule C: Classification criteria and remuneration schedule – Group C organisations (Section 3a) for advisory bodies to departments.
